CBC Saunders Ralston Dantzler host 2nd annual I-4 Commercial Corridor Conference

LAKELAND, FL August 11, 2017 – The I-4 Corridor’s dense population of approximately 20 million and its constant growth led Coldwell Banker Commercial Saunders Ralston Dantlzer Realty (CBCSRD) to host the 2nd annual I-4 Commercial Corridor Conference Friday, August 11, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Florida Polytechnic University, Lakeland, FL.

Approximately 350 real estate agents, investors, and business professionals attended to hear topics covering the latest news and trends associated with the I-4 Corridor, including insights and analysis from top market experts and remarks from Senator Bill Nelson.

The conference benefited from the university setting with 10 breakout sessions taking place in classrooms that allowed for focused discussions and interactions between attendees and 36 panelist experts.

Breakout sessions were led by panels and included specialized discussions on various topics affecting real estate: Entertainment, Land, Equity Capital Sources, Using ARC GIS and Business Analyst, The Publix Story, Industrial, Commercial Lending, Autonomous Navigation, an update on FDOT projects including the recently announced SunTrax Test Track, and a special Deal Making session.

The luncheon featured Chris Oakley, Vice President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s Jacksonville Branch, who provided a regional economic update and remarks from Senator Bill Nelson. Nelson discussed the unique impact that Florida’s present advancements in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) is having on the I-4 corridor. Specific advancements Nelson mentioned are construction of the Space Launch System and the rocket Orion at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, and Florida East Coast Railway’s talk of expanding a passenger train that will travel at 110 mph through Downtown Tampa.
