The workshop was sponsored by the Urban Land Institute Central Florida and Urban Land Institute Tampa Bay. It was held at Polk State College in Winter Haven, where participants came from Tampa, Orlando, and the general Central Florida area.
Ralston and Dantzler were a part of an impressive speaker’s lineup of seven officials from regional corporations and organizations that addressed the latest market trends and how they will affect the “super-region” between Tampa and Orlando. Publix Super Markets Inc. and Legoland Florida discussed their corporate growth strategies. Other presenters were CSX Real Property, Inc and the Central Florida Development Council. After the workshop, participants attended a reception at the new Legoland Florida theme park in Winter Haven.
